The Tower of London
A private tour away from the crowds!
Following the coach drive past some of Londons most famous landmarks including Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament during our Royal London tour we arrive at The Tower of London, where we are met by our very own Yeoman Warder on the middle drawbridge. He will take us into this world heritage site before it opens to the public and then our Beefeater will take us on our private guided tour explaining the history behind this fortress of torture and imprisonment. We will also be the first group to see the Crown Jewels before having some free time to explore the Tower on our own. Why not visit the armouries or Traitors Gate, or the Bloody Tower renamed after the murders that took place there. Also keep an eye out for the famous ravens there has to be at least 6 of them present otherwise it is said that the monarchy will fall! Just to make sure, their wings are cut – they are the only prisoners that still reside in the Tower of London.
Changing of the guards
Our next stop will be the famous Buckingham palace to watch the Changing of the Guards ceremony as one of the Queens Foot Guard Household Regiments march all the way from St. James Palace to Buckingham Palace to the sound military music and dressed in their famous tunics and busbies. To watch the changing of the guards in front of the Buckingham Palace gives the feeling to attend something special, something royal.
Thames Cruise and Pub Lunch
Then to conclude this magic day we will enjoy a Thames cruise as we have an excellent view of St. Pauls Cathedral and Shakespeares Globe. A trip on a Thames Cruise is always special as you will see Buildings and landmarks, which you couldn't see onshore.
