Windsor Castle And Runnymede
More than 900 years of royal history awaits you at Windsor Castle, the castle perched high above the River Thames is not far from London at all. From William the Conqueror to the current Queen, every monarch in between that time has lived in Windsor Castle. It is actually the largest continuously occupied castle in the entire world. Your tour ticket gives you entrance to the castle, so you will have the chance to see for yourself the greatness of St. George's chapel and the charming state apartments. The city of Windsor itself is a gorgeous town full of traditional shops ,old pubs and many other attractions. Shakespeare himself is said to have written his play The Merry Wives of Windsor in one of these historical pubs! STONEHENGE
Stonehenge is now a World Heritage Site and probably the most famous prehistoric monument in the world. Stonehenge stands by itself in the vast Salisbury plain. It dates back nearly 5,000 years and has been the home of spiritual worship, pagan religions, and also public debate. Stonehenge stone circle is still one of historys' greatest mysteries. The admission is included as is plenty of time to explore Stonehenge's engineering and design. After Stonehenge we will visit the centre of the plains, making a stop at Avebury to take some photos of the largest stone circles of the region. After a visit in Stonehenge our guided tour will continue to Oxford.
Oxford
The final part of the day will be spent in Oxford, proposed to be the world's greatest academic institution, containing picturesque honey coloured stone buildings situated around ivy-clad quadrangles. Your guide will take you on a walking tour with an explanation of college life and the traditions of Oxford University. Along the tour, we will stop at a cosy tea shop in the centre of the city to enjoy an incredible cream tea included in the tour.
