Blood Brothers Blood Brothers is the musical story of twin brothers born into poverty and seperated at birth. One brother, Eddie, is adopted by the wealthy employer of his impoverished mother, who cannot afford to raise two extra mouths, while the other, Mickey, is raised by her. The two boys become friends and blood brothers after discovering that they share a birthday. A young girl, Linda, joins them and the three are inseperable. But as the boys mature, Linda and their class differences begin to create a rift between them...

Melanie Chisholm (Mel C) of Spice Girls fame is making her theatrical debut as the boys' mother, Mrs. Johnstone, making her the first Spice Girl to perform in a musical in London's West End. Blood Brothers was written by Willy Russell in 1981. It later made its West End debut in 1988, where it has now been playing for over twenty years. This production will play until the end of July 2010.

The Phoenix theatre is located in Charing Cross Road in Camden, London, between Leicester Square and Tottenham Court Road tube stations. The theatre was first opened in 1930, has three levels, and can hold a capacity of 1.012 people.
