Based on the 1987 hit romantic film, Dirty Dancing the musical is a story of the taboo love between a girl, barely a woman, and an older man.
17 year-old Frances "Baby" Houseman is vacationing at a resort with her family in the Catskill Mountains, where she is smitten by the resort's dance instructor, Johnny Castle. Baby's father quickly learns about the nature of their relationship and, disapproving of their difference in age and class, forbids her to continue seeing Johnny. But love knows no bounds and Baby continues to see Johnny in secret. But when Johnny is accused of stealing from one of the patrons and their love exposed, Johnny is fired for his relationship with Baby...
