Based on the book The Phantom of Manhattan, Phantom: Love Never Dies is set in 1906. The phantom has left Paris' Opera Populaire for New York with Madame Giry and her daughter Meg. There he starts his life anew on Coney Island amid the other freaks who live and work there, and enjoys wealth and fame. However, despite his success he remains unhappy, longing for the true love of his life...

This amazing grade II building was first built in 1806, then known as the `Sans Pareil´. The theatre has been rebuilt four times, changing names each time, the Adelphi Theatre being its latest incarnation. The theatre can hold an audience of up to 1500 people and has a long and rich stage history: from pantomimes to farces, comic operettas and historic dramas, the Adelphi has hosted it all. As all of Lord Webber’s musicals (Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat, Evita, and Cats) have played at the Adelphi, there is no more appropriate venue for the world premiere of Love Never Dies!
