Dolaucothi Gold Mines, Llanwrda

Dolaucothi Gold Mines National Trust Visit the Gold Mines near the Brecon Beacons National Park in the middle of the beautiful Welsh country-side. This industrial heritage site is wonderful to discover - the unique Roman gold mine is set amid wooded hills and was used up until the 20th Century. The tour is guided, come and enjoy splendid views over the beautiful Cothi Valley and three estate walks.

Wellbrook Beetling Mill, Corkhill

Wellbrook Beetling Mill National Trust Explore the ancient mill that is located 10 miles south of Dublin, near the Wicklow Mountains National Park. This industrial heritage has been used as a manufacture and is the last beetling mill in Ireland that is still working. You will have a hands-on demonstration of the linen process done by costumed guides. Besides, you can enjoy the idyllic wooded glen and take a walk or have a picnic on the shores of the Ballinderry River - have a great moment in the open air!
