From the 26 of March 2010 to June 2012, you will have the possibility to discover the Enchanted Palace. This spectacular structure will gather every type of exhibition, and will benefit from the experience of some of the most talented fashion designers in the world.

Kensington Palace was built in 1605 as a private country house, but was finally bought by King William III and Queen Mary II. Revisiting the History, this exhibition will enable you to discover this luxurious but secret residence. The Palace is now the home of the Royal Ceremonial Dress collection, and contains 12,000 items worn by royalty and courtiers from the seventeenth century right up to the modern day. You can attend this spectacular installation organized in collaboration with “WILDWORKS”, the international theatre company based in Comwall. You will admire the work of fashion designers such as Vivienne Westwood, William Tempest, Stephen Jones, Boudicca, Aminaka Wilmont, and Echo Morgan.

Inspired by Kensington Palace, the princesses who lived there, and the royal court the exhibition reflects perfectly the atmosphere of that period. Installations, theatre, story telling, soundscrapes, and haunting film projections are also programmed. For the curator Alexandra Kim, “this is an innovative animated exhibition..which offers a truly unique opportunity to discover the hidden stories of Kensington Palace”. Allowing you to enter rooms such as “Queen Victoria` s bedroom”, “the King` s Drawing Rooms”, “the Council Chamber” and many others. In September 2009 this collection was designated as “pre- eminent collection of national and international importance by the Museums, Libraries, and Archives.”
