This smash hit musical written by comedian writer Ben Elton in collaboration with Queen members Brian May and Roger Taylor to bring Queen’s thrilling music to London’s West End Dominion Theatre. Opened on May 2002 with Tony Vincent, Hannah Jane Fox and Sharon D. Clark in leading roles, it has had worldwide success with productions showing all over the world.
We Will Rock You is set 300 years in the future when the Earth is known as Planet Mall run by the Globalsoft corporation. Singing and musical instruments have been banned and everyone listens to music produced by computers. Dress, actions, and personal opinion are all dictated!
But a new hope lies in a young man and woman, Galileo Figaro and Scaramouche, who believe in a legend that the world’s musical instruments are hidden in the ‘place of living rock’. Together, they set out to realize the legend and to change the planet forever...
